For five years 5 European regions worked together within the Interreg project Food Chains 4 EU, to realize innovations in the food chain. During the online final conference these regions will present their results and will look ahead at what is needed to further innovate the food chain.
The aim of the project was to make the food chain more sustainable and to guarantee sufficient food supply for future generations. The regions involved are: Plovdiv/Sofia (Bulgaria), Emilia-Romagna (Italy), Maramures (Romania), Greater Manchester (UK) and Flevoland (Netherlands)

During the online final conference on the 7th of October all regions will present their results and we will look ahead at what is needed to further innovate the food chain.

10.00 – 10.45: Introduction by deputy Jan-Nico Appelman of the province of Flevoland, with a plenary part about the goals and results of al regions. Followed up with a presentation of the Joint Secretary.
10.45 – 11.00: Break/Networking
11.00 – 11.45: Parallel theme sessions, with the following topics (with reservation);
11.45 – 11..57: Check in by chairman of the day Floor Magarita Cornelisse.
11.57 – 12.00: Break/Networking
12.00 – 12.45: Lunch sessions with presentations of the results per region, in an online information booth.
12.45 – 13.00: Break/Networking
13.00 – 13.45: Parallel theme sessions, with the following topics (with reservation);

14.00 – 15.00: We resume the results of the FC4EU project and look forward with an inspiring keynote speaker prof.dr.ir. JSC (Han) Wiskerke Professor Rurale Sociologie at Wageningen University and Research .
