Spot the differences
No potato is alike. While they might look the same at first glimpse, there are big differences between a seed potato and an eating potato. One is for eating, while the other is used to put back into the ground. This potato then grows more potatoes, that can then, in turn, also be eaten.
Different varieties of seed potatoes are exported all over the world from Flevoland. In fact, 60% of the certified seed potatoes in the world are from the Netherlands! These seed potatoes grow in all kinds of circumstances. There is a big chance that an eating potato in, for example, Kenya, came from a Dutch seed potato. Wherever they will be grown, they will be ingredients in different delicious meals
